ibibo is embarking upon a new journey of launching innovative internet products for consumers in India and also rolling out new brands for the Indian market.

Job Responsibilities:
You will be a part of the core engineering team, architecting and building solutions that will redefine the future of India’s internet.
You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and architect innovative high performance and scalable solutions for meeting the requirements; you will develop business functionality and maintain and enhance current applications in use.
You will be part of core business groups working on products and will be consulting to business from a technology angle.

Experience: 2 – 5 years

Education: BE preferably computer science/electronics

Desired Profile:
Excellent technical skills and a burning desire to learn.
Passionate about programming and getting the job done.
Analytical and objective, with attention to detail.
Must be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly through self – learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently as well as part of a tea.
Linux platform; Proficiency with Apache, MySql (and / or) PostgreSQL, JBoss, Perl and PHP4.0 a must.
Python and Ruby and understanding of SDLC processes will be an added advantage.
Experience in implementing scalable, robust, maintainable software using Object Orientated principles.
Exposure to Java IDEs such as Eclipse and/or Netbeans.
Exposure to Unix (Linux/FreeBSD/Solaris) will be an added advantage
.Net Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET 2003 and 2005,
Familiarity with or knowledge of Web Services,
Experience with XML and SQL Server,
Familiarity with Software testing tools like nunit and profilers will be preferred Reporting to Senior Engineer Manager
