Software Developer at Value Research India Pvt Ltd.  Delhi, India

Value Research is India’s oldest (founded in 1990) and best known mutual funds and investment research company. We’ve always had a strong in-house technology capability which has supported our research and data services businesses.

Since it’s launch in 2000, Value Research Online has been India’s most popular website in this space. We are now developing a suite of web-based software products targeted at the mutual fund research and distribution industry. We are NOT a services company-all development work is for our own products.

Experience: 2+ years

We are looking for people with experience and skills in these areas, but not all in the same person.

* Web application development, specially using python and/or PHP.

* Strong database skills. We’re using PostgreSQL but PL/SQL experience transfers well to PostgreSQL.

* Javascript, hopefully.

Apart from technical skills, some domain understanding in mutual funds or the stock markets would be a plus. We’re not hung up on a specific amount of experience but are unlikely to hire a complete fresher. But that’s not a rule.

If the idea of working in a small team with an informal atmosphere and lots of scope to think and innovate excites you, you should get in touch with us. On the other hand, if you work in some large IT services company and actually enjoy and like your job, then you should probably avoid responding to this ad.
