Designation: Application Developer

Job Description:
Intel’s Supply Network Capability – GAR Supply and Demand Information Solutions is looking for an Application Developer for the WFDS project team. In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
– Assisting the architect and technical lead in defining the high level design, including the data model
– Reviewing the high level design and providing feedback to the architect and technical lead
– Participating in high level design reviews
– Creating low level design for component deliverables, using established design standards and processes
– Implementing the designs using established code standards and processes
– Performing unit testing and creating unit test reports

Desired Profile:
You should possess at least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
Additional qualifications include:
– Strong understanding of system analysis and design, software development life cycle, object-oriented programming, Web applications development, data warehousing and database programming
– Strong software development experience with Teradata* ETL programming, Teradata* Master Data Management, Java* and XML
– Good written, verbal communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work in a team, strong interpersonal skills, able to operate in a multitasking environment with interrupts and priority changes
– Strong analytic skills, self driven, keen to learn and adopt new technologies and processes
– Software development experience with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMi) or Lean Six Sigma would be an added advantage
– Teradata* certification would be an added advantage
