Works on most phases of software programming. Develops logic, codes, tests and debugs software packages defined by higher level software programmers or self. Modifies, tests and debugs vendor supplied utilities, packages and engineering releases to better suit an operating environment. Assists in the definition and programming of complex software, such as utility programs, job control language, macros, and subroutines.
